But what annoyed me most was the staff don't pay attention to kids running about from upstairs to downstairs...I spent most of my time looking side to side watching kids running about than spending time watching a filmAlso the photos used are terrible... Liz Deas Stewart. I went to see The New Mama Mia movie last year, it was good but I enjoyed the original one far better. Best cinema I'v been to. Disabled access into the seating area & staff very friendly & helpful in giving all info. Very comfy sofas downstairs, only downfall is that there is no wheelchair accessable toilets & about 5 steps down to small toilets & wash basins. Toilet floor was washed 15 minutes before the movie finished, which made it even more difficult for disabled people. Would be fantastic if they had disabled toilets as I think this would bring more people to Leven's Kino. I would certainly visit more often. I would also like to see more adult movies being shown.
The Kino in Leven is a small non-chain cinema which started out as a community run enterprise but is now an independent commercial cinema. As such it isn't as pricy as the major chains & is thus far better value for money, particularly when it comes to snacks.Much preferable to the large chains.
FIRST TIME IN KINO Lived in Regent as a youngster.... was pleasantly surprised seating excellent now
This is a quirky little cinema, it has one screen and all of the seating is 2 seater couches. The pricing is good and the staff are nice. My only niggle with it is the heating is always on too high for me, but then I seem to feel the heat a bit more than those around me so perhaps it is comfortable for everyone else. I suggest wearing layers so you can find your comfort, for me it's a sleeveless t-shirt.
