Refurbished about a year ago. Very pleasant eating experience and the food I had was delicious. I've only eaten here once recently so limited exposure for this review. That said, the staff were great and the separate bar area is modern and inviting. Missed 5 stars just because, although the food is nice, the menu is limited.
I met a friend for lunch at this restaurant and the meal was very tasty and served with very friendly staff. We were able just enjoy our meal and without being chased out. I was well set up and all the staff were excellent and very polite, although it was my first visit I was treated like a well and long known friend. I really can recommend having a nice lunch.
Had a l9vely family meal for 25 people .. good was delicious very large portions . The potato n leek soup was to die for as was the steak pie. Staff were really nice and nothing was any trouble for them ..
I had a delicious smoked chicken salad. The tiny tomatoes had even been oven roasted and were delicious as was the mango cubes. The best salad I have ever tasted and I will need to return soon to try it again.
