Enjoyed our 3 day stay,very comfortable bed with high quality bed wear.Very clean bathroom,first hotel Ive been to in a long time with no mould(seems to be a fashion in the UK,even 4 Star hotels!)Very thick bath sheets,which were unexpectedly changed daily. Ate in the pub and enjoyed the steak which we thoroughly enjoyed.
A lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly, happy to help staff. Great for kids too as they have a mini soft play area - separate from the bar
Food was poor staff were nice no amenities for disabled people stairs no lift room was not clean furnishing where at least 20 years of wear light bulbs missing. Light over sink didn't work. Toilet seat moves when you sit on it. Hotel has seen better days. Carpet tread Bere in places rest of carpet was stained see photos
Wonderfully decorated, good selection of draught beers and lagers, even more for bottled beers, mixers and "hard liquor."Do a very good trade in meals, accomodation and conferences, parties etc.What makes it for me are the staff, a more friendly, cheery set of "lassies" probably doesn't exist. They make me feel more like family than "The Olive Garden."My local of choice.
Stayed on Friday night. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and fresh. I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in a long time - very comfortable bed and crisp, good quality bedding. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I recently stayed in a 4* hotel and was less pleased with the room and fixtures and fittings. Well done. Keep up the good work!
